Our learners have certainly been making the most of the better weather, with plenty of outside activities taking place over the last couple of months including tennis, a Jubilee BBQ in Dorchester and travel training day to Poole Quay. It's been full steam ahead for those following an academic year, who have been busy preparing for a transition to work experience, employment, external colleges or onward SWRAC courses.
Last week we were delighted to welcome the team from Lush cosmetics who visited our Boscombe campus. The team met with our Post 16 Vocational Group, SEN Supported Interns, Traineeships & our Prep 4 Work students to discuss the Lush business and get hands on making a variety of bath bombs and bubble bars!
Hello and welcome to the first of what will be our quarterly newsletter! Following your feedback from a recent survey, these updates have been implemented to keep you informed about all the great things going on across our centres and act as a reminder for key dates and events.
We are delighted to announce that on the 14th September Ofsted arrived to carry out a full inspection of all our centres and have graded us as a GOOD Provider! This means that we have been consistently good since our very first inspection in 2008! We are, of course, very proud of this achievement and would like to thank all of those who have supported us through the years.
