Employers & Businesses Work Experience for People with SEN

At SWRAC we work with many people who have special educational needs (SEN) and we are always on the lookout for enthusiastic employers and businesses who might be able to offer them work experience opportunities. Can your business help?

SEN Work Experience Opportunities

If you are an SEN-friendly employer willing to offer work experience, SWRAC will work with you to make sure the relationship works well for both parties.

During the work experience period some students may require some extra help, if this is the case, we will provide a workplace mentor who will attend work with the individual. This will help them with the transition into a work environment, make them feel more comfortable and help them to understand what they are doing.

SWRAC will also help with travel training, so the individual you are helping can get themselves to the work experience placement at your premises.
