Vocational Driver Courses
Driver CPC – for Lorry Drivers

This new qualification for professional lorry drivers means that in future, holding a vocational driving licence will not be sufficient for someone who wishes to drive such vehicles for a living.
The Driving Standards Agency is taking the lead in implementing EU Directive 2003/59 which requires professional bus, coach and lorry drivers to hold a Driver CPC in addition to their vocational driving licence. For lorry drivers this came into force September 2009 across all European Union member states.
Driver CPC requires all category C and D licence holders to take part in 35 hours training every 5 years in order to maintain their CPC. It also introduces a new initial qualification process that new drivers must complete before they can drive professionally.
Don’t leave it too late to sign up for your course. If you have not completed your training by 2014 you will be unable to continue to drive professionally. So book early and enjoy peace of mind with our CPC Lorry Driver qualification.

Driver Assessment
90% of all accidents are caused by human error and occur on roads drivers are familiar with. To determine your requirement for driver assessment you need to look at how far you or your drivers travel: the more miles covered the greater the risk.
The Driver Assessment provides the necessary underpinning knowledge to enable existing drivers to enhance their skills and identify the importance of driving safely in a working environment.
